Here are some important details and tips for your upcoming shoot:
Whilst some clients book sessions for fun, others seek opportunities for their kids to get into the modelling industry. My expertise lies in photoshoots intended for agency submissions, building social media presence, or to create memories. If you have specific shots in mind, please let me know beforehand so we can tailor the session to meet your needs. With my industry experience, I can also provide guidance on applications if needed.
I offer a couple of photography styles; both natural daylight style as well using flash. Please be aware that each session requires a minimum of two clothing changes, which you will need to provide. Always bring along a spare outfit and a plain t-shirt, especially if you plan to use the images for model applications. I can also assist to capture home style snapshots for agency application.
For boys, please ensure a tidy haircut. For girls, consider starting with hair down, then transitioning to hair up for a variety of looks. Avoid any kids fake tattoos, paint, nail polish, or makeup. Naturally curly hair is preferred without product—clients appreciate seeing children in their most natural state, allowing for versatile styling to match the brand when they secure a booking.
If you need assistance selecting outfits, don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m happy to help with that as well. You can consider brands like Zara, Mango, and H&M. Cool and abstract pieces are also welcome! Denim and designer clothing, such as Boss, Burberry, and Gucci, are excellent options too. Aim for a diverse selection of sets, dresses, jumpsuits, and footwear. Feel free to bring multiple outfits, and we can decide together on the day which ones will work best.
Please note deposits are non-refundable. However, if you need to cancel, please allow me the opportunity to fill your spot. I understand that unexpected circumstances can arise and plans may change. I will do my best to accommodate rescheduling requests. Failure to show up for the appointment will result in forfeiture of all payments made. I reserve the right to move or change the session date in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond my control. In such cases, all sessions and payments will be transferred to the new date, and you will be notified of this change with prior notice.
Please be aware that photo processing may take up to 3-4 weeks, with minimal retouching applied to showcase your child in the most natural manner possible. Please note all payment must be made via bank transfer to secure your slot. See our bookings page for all rates and packages.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time slot and send us a message once you have arrived. We kindly request one adult per child, unless the child is under 3 years old or part of a sibling package, to minimize distractions. Please be advised that if you are more than 20 minutes late, it may reduce your allocated shoot time. Sessions typically last around 30 to 45 minutes, depending on your child’s mood and cooperation on the day. Sometimes, we’re able to capture photos quickly, while other times it may take a bit longer but we encourage patience, fun and a friendly atmosphere for to get the best out of the kids.
